Both options aim to prevent pets from damaging or escaping through screens while allowing for airflow and visibility.

Some pet screen and grille combinations offer a lower grille section for added protection at the bottom, where pets are most likely to scratch or push, with a more open screen above for better views. Features like reinforced corners, durable framing materials, and easy installation are also common.
